Corporate Services
At Cavanagh | Kelly the 'Business Plan' is seen as a vital tool to achieve business success and to formulate strategies and plans for the future.
Traditionally Business Plans were seen as a necessary evil if the business was hoping to attract funding. Today, however, they help the business assess their strengths and weaknesses, identify potential threats and maximise opportunities. In short, they serve to bring an essential discipline to the business and this can help enormously to avoid many basic pitfalls.
At Cavanagh | Kelly we offer a range of consultancy services including:
• Preparation of financial projections perhaps for use internally or for the bank.
• Preparation of cashflows and projections which form part of a submission for grant funding.
• Comparing the various ways of financing on asset purchase e.g. H P, Leasing, Mortgage etc.
• MIS development of systems of control
• Information selection of computer systems
• Debt Equity & Grant Finance
• Forensic accounting
• Loss of earnings
• Matrimonial reports
• Partnership dissolutions
Grants
The grants regime in Northern Ireland has changed with Ledu and IDB joining forces to become a single body called Invest Northern Ireland. Our team can provide you quickly with details of the type of expenditure, which is eligible for grant, and estimate of the cost of preparing any claim.
Please remember, if you are hoping to attract grant aid for any project to check that your business is in the eligible category. We can of course advise on this. Typically, one of the most popular grants available is that for developing a new process within your business or developing a new product. The key factor that the change must be innovative and where possible introducing new technologies to the business. Grants are also available to businesses entering or expanding within the export market.
From time to time, dependent on funding, other short term grants may be available. We constantly review the grants available and advise of any funds relevant to them.
If you have any queries about grants, please do not hesitate to contact Cathal in the office.
