Name: Karen O’Hagan

Position: Manager, Magherafelt Office

Qualifications: BA Hons Accounting (UUJ), Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI).

Relevant Experience:

Karen joined corporate services department in October 2006, before being appointed manager of the Magherafelt Office in January 2007.

Karen trained and worked with Quinn Group, Co. Fermanagh for 5 years. Here she worked throughout the group, spending time in the Insurance sector. Property sector but was primarily based in the Manufacturing finance function. From here Karen progressed into the overall Group finance function as Group Financial Accountant.

Karen also undertook a nine month contract as senior accountant with Western Health and Social Services Board, before joining Cavanagh Kelly.

In her role as Manager of the Magherafelt Office Karen deals with clients of varying sizes and from a range of sectors, and she brings her commercial experience to the practice. Karen is also involved in a variety of consultancy work including, financial projections, business plans and funding applications.
