SALARY:                Negotiable* + OTE Bonus (*Placement on salary scale will depend on level of experience)

REPORTS TO:       Director of Operations / Partner Team

JOB OVERVIEW:

Having enjoyed continued success and growth within the local market, we are recruiting for an IT Systems Project Manager to join our Practice. This is newly created role within the Practice – it is a dedicated, stand-alone role and presents an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will help to create and build a new way of working within CavanaghKelly.  They will conduct an overall analysis on current systems within the Practice and use analysis and design techniques to help identify areas of improvements before implementing new ways of working (digitalisation) that will transform the way we do things in the future.

THE ROLE:

  • Examine and analyse existing IT systems and business models and identify requirements
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability
  • Conduct requirements analysis and prepare specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
  • Produce project feasibility and costings reports
  • Provide project management for systems implementations, which may include designing products, programming, providing team leadership, testing, implementing, reporting, reviewing finished products, and tracking performance and data quality.
  • Work alongside various departments within the Practice including the Training & Development Manager and IT staff in providing training in all aspects of Hardware and Software products.
  • Liaising with current IT staff to support, troubleshoot, and upgrade applicable system infrastructures.

THE CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years’ experience at a Senior Level - working with information technologies and systems analysis
  • Experience of working within Professional Services is preferred but not essential

THE PERSON:

  • A self-starter with motivation and enthusiasm to engage in growth activity;
  • Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration
  • Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
  • Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
