Balmoral Show 2018

Delighted to have joined with Dunbia and Young Farmer Clubs Ulster to participate in a very informative 'Breakfast Briefing' at the 2018 Balmoral Show.

Des Kelly and Gabrielle McArdle presented at the Dunbia Breakfast Briefing at the 2018 Balmoral Show, as part of the focus of planning for the future within the Farming Industry.  Covering the key topic of Succession Planning, Gabrielle delivered strong messages around the importance of thinking and planning ahead when it comes to the future of your farming business.  The Briefing also covered the Land Mobility Scheme, presented by John McCallister.

Highlighting the topics of tax and succession planning, particularly within the Farming Industry are helping to get those involved to start thinking about the importance of financial budgeting and forecasting, the need to develop a succession plan and make a will.

The team at CavanaghKelly were also recently involved in the role out of a number of Tax and Succession Planning Seminars arranged jointly between CAFRE and Rural Support under the Farm Family Key Skills [FFKS] initiative which is partly funded by the EU under the NIRDP 2014-2020.

The concept of succession planning can often be a difficult one to start discussing, particularly within a family setting.  However, it is an extremely important one to talk about and take action.  If you would like to know more please get in touch with one of our team.
