Rachel is a Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. She is an experienced advisor having worked on a number of high profile assignments. She is respected in the profession and has a reputation for providing straight forward advice.
Rachel joined CavanaghKelly from PwC in November 2009 and was promoted to Director in 2012.
In March 2016 Rachel became a licenced Insolvency Practitioner and is now the firm’s primary appointment taker. She is responsible for a portfolio of over 130 cases and is supported by an experienced team. Rachel is a trusted advisor and has developed strong relationships with Banks, legal advisors and other professionals. She has delivered complex restructuring plans for clients with business or personal debt exposure. Rachel also provides advice to individuals and sole traders facing financial difficulties and has been commended on her ability to reassure them and provide manageable solution to their difficulties.
Rachel also has experience in working with public sector clients. This has involved completion of a number of economic appraisals and business cases. In her time with PwC Rachel completed business cases for the Giant’s Causeway Visitor Centre and the Titanic Signature Project. This experience has enabled her to deliver similar assignments in Cavanagh Kelly for local councils, education boards and sports organisations
