Sean Cavanagh is a founding Partner in CavanaghKelly. Sean commenced his practice in Dungannnon in 1991 following a period as Partner in Coopers & Lybrand. He merged his practice with Des Kelly in 2003 and heads CavanaghKelly's Recovery & Insolvency division. Sean is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and is chairman of the Insolvency Technical Committee North of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He is a regular speaker of professional seminars on insolvency issues. In addition to his specialist work, Sean also maintains his business advisory involvement with some of the practice's key clients and is involved in local economic groups and charities and advising on governance and finance issues for charities. He is a fluent french speaker and assists Northern Ireland companies with language, legal and business issues realting to France and other French speaking countries.
On a personal note
From his years living in France, Sean has developed a deep interest in the French wine growing industry and has visted dozens of vineyards. Our wine club in the practice has been able to benefit from his contacts with boutique wine growers.
