Steven Lindsay

Steven leads our Governance, Risk and Consulting team, and is responsible for providing outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services to clients in the public and charitable sectors and consulting services to clients in the private, public, and not for profit sectors.

Steven is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, a qualified Executive coach and holds a BSc in Accounting and Economics.

Steven has a wealth of experience in senior roles. Prior to joining CavanaghKelly, he established and led the internal audit and consulting section in a mid-tier accountancy practice and was also Managing Partner of the firm from 2010-2017. He also spent 12 years working in the NI Public sector (Health and Social Care), including 5 years at Chief Executive level.

He was a Trustee of Age NI from 2007 – 2017 and is currently a Trustee and Treasurer with Verbal Arts, a Board member of Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and a Governor with Foyle College.

Steven has a keen interest in leadership development and is an accredited associate executive coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching. He has provided coaching services to clients operating at Chief Executive, Director and Manager level in the Public, Private and Community and
