Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To effectively prepare accounts and audits for a wide range of clients including SME clients with turnover up to £10m and other regulated entities (e.g. Charities);
- To ensure that work is planned in advance and in accordance with agreed delivery timescales so that deadlines may be met;
- Collaborate with other departments as a business partner providing impactful and valuable solutions to clients;
- Develop positive relationships with clients by delivering high-quality service, ensuring effective progression of assignments and tasks and maintaining regular communication, including site visits and attending client meetings;
- Actively engage in key management meetings, contributing your insights and expertise to drive informed decisions;
- Management and development of team of staff, ensuring comprehensive training for junior members to encourage their growth;
- Actively identify and propose business development opportunities for the Practice to explore; and
- To develop existing systems and lead the implementation of new technologies within the audit and accounts function.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Charted Accountant with 5 years PQ experience
- At least 1 years’ previous experience in a Management role
- Experience of management of portfolio of audit and accounts clients
- Experience of working with clients to include public, private and charitable sectors
