Our client requires a Group Accountant with an eye for detail and a common sense approach. The Group Accountant will support the Managing Director working across a diverse portfolio within the agricultural, construction and investment sectors.

The Role
- Preparation of monthly management accounts;
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts for the group of companies;
- Reporting on relevant KPI’s;
- Implementation and set up of systems for reporting and control;
- Provide support during financial auditing of group company accounts;
- Ability to interrogate data to understand its composition and its accuracy, producing financial reports highlighting key findings and providing advice to the Managing Director;
- Add hoc duties as and when required.
The Person
- The ability to work independently, prioritise and work within set deadlines;
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to effectively relay financial information;
The Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent);
- At least 3 years’ post qualification experience with strong commercial and business acumen.
