Fleet Maintenance are currently recruiting for an Internal Accountant
Main Dutes and Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely information to the management team;
Preparation of monthly management accounts;
Conduct detailed financial analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor performance indicators;
Work alongside the operations team;
Monitor and control costs, highlighting areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement;
Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and support strategic planning initiatives;
Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget deviations;
Payroll processing;
Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes;
Essential Skills and Experience
Professional accounting qualification desired but consideration will be given to those qualified by experience
Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
Proficient in using Sage Line 50 software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organisational and time management abilities
