Catherine Martin

During her time with CavanaghKelly, Catherine has taken a strong lead in developing our Accounts and Audit as well as our Advisory and Tax functions. Catherine has a key role in leading teams on the provision of audit and accounting services to clients ranging from SME’s to large corporations, charities, not-for-profit, professional services firms and high net worth individuals. Within Advisory, she has successfully led teams in providing a range of services including consultancy, mergers and acquisitions and business reviews. With 3 years direct experience on delivering and evaluating economic appraisals in the public sector, Catherine leads CavanaghKelly’s engagement in Public Sector work.  Catherine is a Chartered Tax Advisor who advises individuals and businesses in a wide variety of sectors in both the UK and Ireland on all aspects of taxation. 

Catherine has a strong interest in education and professional development.  Catherine lectured the ATI Taxation and Advanced Taxation in South West College over a 8 year period.  In 2015, Catherine changed from her role as a lecturer to one as an External Examiner.  Catherine is also author of the ATI Taxation and Advanced Taxation manuals which are the recommended reading resource for the course in NI. 

On a personal note

Catherine is a keen yoga enthusiast and is a regular attendee at our lunchtime yoga and mindfulness sessions.
