Ruth joined CavanaghKelly in 2023 and is currently studying towards her Accounting Technician qualification. With a diverse professional background, Ruth brings a wealth of experience to the team. She spent 11 years as a Civil Engineering Assistant in the Roads Service before transitioning to roles in the finance sector, including working as a teller and later as a finance officer in the local Credit Union. Most recently, she held a role in the Exams Office of a local college before moving into accountancy.
Since joining CavanaghKelly, Ruth has developed a strong interest in payroll and is excited to pursue a career in the field. Her practical approach and adaptability make her a great asset to the team.
“I enjoy the variety payroll offers, from processing small payrolls of one or two employees to the complex processing of large payrolls of over five hundred employees. These challenges can be demanding but also incredibly rewarding.”
On a personal note:
Ruth has a keen interest in music and enjoys playing the piano, concert flute and organ. Ruth regularly plays the organ in her local church. Ruth also enjoys going on holiday to relax with her family.
