Emergency Financial Assistance Scheme now open for applications

This is a one off scheme to deal with the unique circumstances caused by heavy rainfall during the period 7 November 2015 - 31 January 2016

The scheme opened for applications 4 April 2016 and will remain open until 30 April 2016 for non-farmland applications and 16 May 2016 for farmland applications.Northern Ireland Flooding

It provides flood assistance of £1,000 to non domestic properties and small businesses, including farm businesses. It will also include recreational and community buildings and places of worship.

The scheme is being administered by the DOE and operated by the council areas affected. It is jointly funded by DARD and DOE. DARD will also provide a technical assessment of eligibility in relation to farm businesses if required.
