Farmer and Landowner Entitlements - 2016 Deadlines
There are a number of deadlines approaching for Farmer and Landowner 2016 entitlements.
From January 2015, the Single Farm Payment Scheme was replaced by the Basic Payment Scheme, the Greening Payment and the Young Farmers' Scheme.
For 2016 the following deadlines apply:
- Young Farmer's Payment/Regional Reserve form and supporting evidence: 15 April 2016
- Basic Payment Scheme*: 16 May 2016 (midnight)
Note*: All Farmers applying for payment under the Basic Payment Scheme will have to comply with greening requirements on all the eligible agricultural land on their holding and in return will receive a Greening Payment calculated as a percentage of the total value of the Basic Payment Scheme entitlements they activate each year.
