Mid Ulster to benefit from £8m in Rural Development Funding

Rural communities and businesses in Mid Ulster are set to benefit from over £8m in LEADER project funding through the new Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme.

The funding programme is due to open for applications later this year and is designed to support business development (new or existing), job creation and improve basic services and social inclusion in rural areas.

A series of information sessions are being held during February:

  • Monday 1 February, 6.30pm - 8.30pm (Corick House Hotel, Clogher)
  • Thursday 4 February, 6.30pm - 8.30pm (Tullylagan Country House Hotel, Cookstown)
  • Tuesday 9 February, 6.30pm - 8.30pm (Walsh's Hotel, Maghera)
  • Thursday 11 February, 6.30pm - 8.30pm (3rd floor, Corn Mill, Coalisland)
